I went to the movies tonight with a few buddies to see Hero.
IF you plan on seeing it, I recommend you don't.
Through the whole movie, they speak in chineese and they have sub-script at the bottom. I was pretty dissapointed.

The action was pretty good, but all in all, I personally think the movie sucked.

That is not a suprise. It was being compared to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and that had subtitles too. Once the movie comes out on DVD, it will be in English. But of course, they will have the Chinese version first, so you buy that one, then they come out with the English version, so you buy that one too. They make twice the money. Just wait for the second one.

Thats too bad because it looked cool in the previews... and Jet Li kicks soo much royal ass... what a shame :(
