Hi, I'm new here. I'm an athlete at a D1 school and am about 6'2, 197 lbs. I'm already in a set weight program, and I don't have the luxury of being able to set a strict day by day diet because I can only choose from what's available in the dining hall any given day. I'm just looking for some tips on getting leaner with more definition. I think I could definitely do with more water, I don't drink enough as it is, but will that really help? What kind of foods should I aim for to build up definition and lean muscle without cutting a lot of overall weight? Anything I should definitely stay away from? Thanks

well you can either bulk or diet down....i suggest you bulk up, cos you are pretty thin for a guy your height. It wouldnt hurt to bulk up a bit, and put on some body fat, which can be lost from cardio later down the road
