Lets here it, what gets you pumped! Either before or during a workout.
I'll start: I personally think i work out better when im pissed about something, some type of rush i guess. thinking about people or things that make me angry seems to help with heavy weight, low reps. Also hard rock and techno.

Listen to anything that gets me going for that day it is diferent from day to day..Might be techno one day or hardcore thug rap the next..Good and loud on the way to the gym go over what I want to do mentally then do it..I can't listen to music in ear plugs or head phones makes me feel sick don't need it anyways I am there to make shit happen...

When I am done I have dead quiet in the ride home no musci just road noise and drink my shake...

oh but for me i just turn on my mp3 player and like everyone else i love feeling pumped. feeling healthy, pumped, and good about myself!

what motavates me is when i tihnk about reaching my goals and lifting more weight and all that stuff music and stuff to :D

Yeah, the music is almost a must. My workout room at home has Sirius radio, actually the whole house does.. But they have some real good channels for workin out. Octane hard rock, Area 33 Techno, its sooo much better than the music at the gym! Like Storm, i cant workout with earphones and an armband

for me it really depends on the day.....if its legs deff. hardcore rock.....but for like arms i kinda like gangsta rap.....but usually just thinking about the gym i get pumped

ill chime in and agree with everyone else, the music is the best part, along with workin towards those goals... i think my ipod is the greatest investment ive made in the past few months, i almost never listen to rap in everyday life, but in the gym i just love it.. that and some metal, its gotta be hardcore whatever it is
