I'm at work right now. It's 1am....waiting for a call. We have claxtons(sp) that are loud as **** and I am afraid to fall asleep because if I do and the pagers go off, so does the claxton. It is not pleasant at all. :ohcrap: I rigged the one up in the dorm so if it goes off, it should deaden the sound, but with something that makes about 100db, it's hard to.

Yeah, I finally crashed at about 2:30am. Finally got a call at exactly 6 though. The Claxton ROCKED me though. Those things are absolutely rediculous. The reason we have them because we have people that sleep through the pagers going off, which are pretty loud too. The one guy who sleeps through the pagers actually slept through the Claxton going off too.

Well one time at university when I was squatting 4 times a week I was so tired I slept through a fire alarm lol so I know how he feels

A buzzer that sounds when the station gets an emergency call. They are placed all throughout the station too, not just in one place. Each buzzes at about 100Db....very loud.
