| ok 1st off morvak, how long have you been lifting, secondly, surely you've seen this done estray.. I mean, the older lifters on here have to remember this exercise, right? What are you suppose to use if you don't accessibility to a neck machine? Performed correctly, that's actually a good lift to strengthen and build your neck. If i'm not mistaken, we had this in our weight room in college or maybe highschool. No offense taken, but it does show you guys' inexperience as lifters. |

| I've seen it done many times but it still cracks me up. It would seem to me if someone has put in a lot of time lifting and has built up his traps especially, he won't have a skinny neck. My neck gets thicker as I get bigger, anyway. |

| Huge bump ^ I personally would use one if my gym didn't have a machine. I would put a few 45's and start with some sets. |

| LOL. nah ive seen those done. boxers do it to help impact. its quite easy to pull a neck muscle if someone gives you a right hook! and as already stated, wrestler do it for chokeholds and headlocks. s till makes me laugh when i see it being done though! |
