Funny how people who come to Florida love it. I grew up here and except for the year round inhabitable weather, I hate it. I like the mountains, all we have is swamps and the beach. I was on Longboat Key today and the red tide is back again. Even the millionaires that live on the beach have to smell that all the time. Smells like you put a dead fish in a wet work boot and stuck it up an old, fat guys ass.

You get used to the t-storms, though it has been heavier this year than in a long time. If you can survive the Canadian arctic you could adapt here:) It's just the scenery that sucks. It is pretty to see the sunsets and cross a bridge and look down at the white sand and blue-green water but that's no match for Alaska or the Great Smoky Mountains in NC and Tennesse. I think I'll retire in the mountains. Of course, maybe I take it for granted because I've lived here my whole life.

And you gotta love them skeeters, they can stand flat-footed and f*ck a turkey.

Munequita, You're moving to Canada? That's where I live. If you have any questions about Canada, concerning some cool places to live, see, what the winters are like etc. and so on. feel free to pm me. I'm actually going to the States in about another week to see my girl. I'm staying in Manhattan. I wouldn't mind living in the States at all.
