| This question may sound real dumb, but I am looking for all the beginner help and info I can absorb. A little background, I am on my ninth week of strength training, 3 times/week. I am definitely seeing progress, but one thing I am noticing and seeing results in my biceps, however they are not solid. I am taking a minumum of 140 grams of protein/day, eating 4-6 times/day, 5'-10, 165#'s. Any ideas from anyone? Much appreciated! |

| One piece of advice I have is too up your protein intake to about 240g a day. |

| rule of thumb.........take 1.5-2/grm of protein per lbs of body weight. |

| that could be it....i dont have any facts about it but from my experience thats what it seems like. also make sure your not overtraining your bis....a lot of people train them very frequently or do more sets and reps than needed. remember almost everytime you train your upper body your working your arms.....also keep switchin your routine for your bis every week. |

| I don;t disagree with him 100 per cent only 50 percent :) 12 - 15 reps could do something - thats the way ronny coleman trains so if it is good neough for him then I can;t see why ity woudln;t be good enough for others - who are we to disagree. This method others have talked about in years gone by - to say that it will ad some muscle and good for cutting. but 20 sets wooooooooooooow what are we profesionals to train 20 sets per bodypart >? Good luck with that - I think you will need it. |

| are you kidding 20 sets for bi s is just about half way there for most serious bbs.do some diggin and you will find out that most do 30 in the a.m. and 5-6 hrs later do another 30 sets. it is not at all uncommon to see most do 60-70 sets a day of course they rest for 2-3 days,eat tons drink plenty of water and stack ???????????? on top of that.dude seriously im not saying that is a good place to start.But it is a good place to end up!!!!!!!!:thumbs:( aim small miss small.) |
