whos seen it??? i saw it yesterday and its amazing the kind of shape that stallone is in for being 60! i thought it was a great movie (not as good as Rocky 4) but seeing the training scene still made me wanna go to the gym.....no matter how old Rocky gets those movies still inspire me :thumbs:

its good to see one last (well maybe) Rocky movie.....Rocky 5 just sucked so it was good to see one last go around for stallone. movie critics may not like it but they dont think like all of the meat heads around the world like myself do, where we get all pumped for the training scenes and fights and when we leave the movie we're actually upset that Rocky lost hahaha

That fellah who said that Rocky lost in part 6 should have a good hard look at himself. Did it ever occure to you that some people would of liked to of seen the movie without knowing what happens in the end? Did it ever occure to you that there are people from other parts of the world that visit this forum where the movie will not be released until some part next year? Did it ever occur to you that some people have been waiting for Rocky Balboa since the second that they finished watching Rocky 5 some 13 years ago AND HERE YOu GO SPOiLING IT TELLING EVERYBODY THE OUTCOME! Well done and hope you have a very bad X-mas and new years.

To the others what would you rate this rocky out of 10 ? How does it compare in the series ? For me here is my order of preference for Rocky.

Rocky 3,
Rocky the orinigal
Rocky 2,
Rocky 5,
Rocky 4.

Just watched it now.. I thought it was good but just something wasnt right, preparation for the fight wasnt serious like in others and even right before the fight it was dragged out more like a talent quest with the music and shit.. and in the last round his son pisses me off I never liked him since rocky 5. I rekon rocky 1+2 were up with the best with 4 then 3 then 6 and 5 wasnt very good.

The reason I said 5 before 4 and yes I have seen 5 on many occasions is that I think 4 is too much of a comic book. You see a fellah who is training with the most primitive ways (Rocky) against Ivan who has the best of technology as well as being on roids and you see Rocky do the humanly impossible by defeating him. Whilst everything that happened in rocky 5 is possible the Rocky 4 storyline is very unrealistic as our community knows as well as anybody else does that the anabolicly trained athlete is far superior to the natural one - therefore creating some comic book superhero character out of Rocky .
Ad to that the political messages portrayed in the movie of Russia vs the U.S. which you guys may like but a worldwide audience does not really give two hoots about - that being another one of the movies negativites.
Lets not also forget that rocky 4 is very repetitive to the other Rockies. Rocky says he is going to retire - Rocky says then that he has to fight, Rocky looks like he is on a loser, Rocky triumphs. Rocky 4 is in a way Rocky2, and rocky 3 with different actors.
At least the 5th rocky had something different with him being a trainer - you got top see all the old cast (excluding Appolllo) including Micky, The priest etc etc.
For all of the above reasons which I have stated in order of their weight I believe that Rocky 5 was better than 4.

Sylvester Stallone was caught with banned substances amongst the common anti anxiety drug Xanax when attempting to enter Australia. 200 pills of Xanax were found in Stallones possesion without a drs prescription or script. The banned substances were believed to be bodybuilding drugs which it is believed that in the U.S. are legal although outlawed here.

On his departure customs raided Stallones motel room after seeing items being thrown outside the hotel window. Following the raid Stallone was ordered to appear in Australia again in 2 months (I think) on charges relating to bringing in prohibited substances into the country.

Some of the details are still abit vague as the media has not said exactly what was found other than the Xanax.

The press realeases say "banned substances were seized". Zanax is not a banned substance, might be illegal without a script but not banned. It also said bodybuilding drugs including HGH were seized.

Well the Xanax was reported from Richard Wilkins who is a entertainment reporter on one of the morning shows here. He said Xanax amongst other things which are believed to be bodybuilding drugs which he said at this stage it is belived that these drugs are legal in the states although prohibited in Australia.
reason why Xanax is a problem is that I dunno bout the states but here Xanax is a prescription only medicine and when bringing in such medication into Australia you need to have a note from the Doctor a script of the prescription to show customs - and of course declared which Stallone did not do.

All in all Adrian was very Siapointed whilst Appollo said that "yo rock you knw these things happen bro". Paulie said to Rockies son "Don't follow in your fathers footsteps sometimes he is a bum" which the crowd laughed at as Paulie is not a shining example himself especially when taking into account he said those comments whilst taking a sip of his whisky from that 30 year old flask of his.
