| Hello. I'm new to the forum but not new to training. I'm around 5-7 inches tall, and weigh around 170 lbs, give or take a pound or two. My story as far as bodybuilding goes is I'm considered to some as a pretty big guy but have recently been getting a larger stomach, it's not huge or anything but its starting to bother me. My addiction to soda is the reason, my plan is to replace soda with gatorade, then mix it up between gatorade and water. My highest maxes was a couple of months age when I maxed at bench press 255 and maxed at squat at 320. My goal isn't to bulk up right now my goal is to just become more defined, specifically in the chest and back areas. Below I have listed my long-term goals. . . . Bench Press- 265 Squat- 360 Weight: 185 Military Press: 205 [seated]. 165 [standing]. Nice to meet you all. |

| you'll save a little by switching to gatorade, it will cut the calories in half, but really I'd probably switch to crytal lite or water if you want to cut out the sugary crap, because gatorade still is just sugary crap. lol Good luck man. |

| nice choice of an avatar on Street Sharks... man that brings me back. i'd say to cut out the soda, you should always have a bottle of water with you. i find that if i keep a nalgene bottle handy i always take a drink every once in a while without even thinking about it and then i never really feel thirsty and never really want anything other than the water. |
