| ive been workin out in my room for the past month or so because i could never get a ride to the gym (my parents are always workin) now that i found a ride with my friend im sorta nervous. im 5 foot 7 inches, 126 pounds so im sort of skinny. ive never been to a gym before and im really scared of being the skinny weak kid in there. so my question is should i be? and for the big guys do you ever see a skinny kid workin hard and thin 'wow, just wow what a weak ass'?:ohcrap: |

| We all started small and weak just remember if and when you do get big dont forget where you came from..Very few live that phrase. reason being you see a lot of jerkoffs who some who think they all of a sudden got to 250lbs and 8% bf without doing a thing. |

| Dont sweat being the little guy man. It all takes hard work and dedication. I was the opposite. All through grade school I was picked on for being the short fat kid. I have an obease family. My mom is slowly dieing on me and there is nothing I can do. She weights over 340lbs. And needs gastric by pass or lapband surgery and we cant afford it. It hurts me really bad. But we live and we learn. That my freind is what fuels me to stay in shape. So if someone ever makes fun of you let that fuel you!!! And hold your head up high!!! |

| dude im truly sorry about your mom, mines on the obease side too and im scare that the same thing will happen to her...im trying to get her healthy before its too late...and thakns for the advice man! |

| if you do the right things as far as eating ,sleeping ,working out,etc, you are not gonna be the smallest guy at the gym for too long,i started with a small weights and tought people will make fun of me ,and it's been 2 months and i am slowly but surely catching up to the rest of the guys at the gym,and the woman check you out anyways ,you dont have to be lifting extremely heavy for girls to notice you. |

| I agree with that chino. I know some big guys that dont lift heavy all the time. Remember use good form. This is what its all about! |

| Hey - sometimes we all get nervous and anxious about things but you have to push through and do it, otherwise if you give in to yuor nervousnous then nothing gets achieved in life. |

| Seriously true! I know how you feel, though...I'm a chick that has to walk into the "big boy" section on my own...I've never been very strong, and add onto that the fact that I feel like an alien species invading their territory the way they stare! If I let that get to me, I'd never go, I'd jsut plant my a** in curves and never achieve what I want. When you do get to the gym, just focus on your form, and let the rest of the room disappear. |

| yeah + as well if you do things that make you anxious one day you will forget about getting anxious and look back and say sheesh what was i so scared about ? Anyways boss has gone overseas so I might have a early finish tonight and leave my warehouse NOW! |
