Hey all this is my 1st post. I have been reading the posts on this site for the last few months great info guys!!

I need help in fine tuning my diet to get me around 10% BF. I am 28, 6'1", 205lbs and current Bf is at 20%. I have been hitting the gym for about a year and a half pretty hard. I have reached my size goal and now I wanna get trim.

My current diet consists of:
Breakfast- 5 egg whites fried w/ cooking spray and a cup of oatmeal.
Snack- cottage cheese w/ fruit or yogurt and fruit
Protein shake one scoop before workout and 2 scoops immediately after.
Workout- 1 hour a day 5 days a week.
Lunch- usually a can of tuna or 2-3 chicken breast w/ assorted veggies.
snack- peanuts and dried apricots or fruit
Dinner- Chicken breast or steak with beans and a veggie.
I usually eat around 2800-3200 calories and 250-300gm protein a day.

Right now i do not do any strenuous cardio but i am going to start this week.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to BBF

diet looks pretty good only thing I'd liek ot see if kep the protien around 300 and try getting soem flax oil ot get mroe fat form EFA's (essential fattay acids)

let us know how it gores and we cna help you tweak it as you go. Rember after u loose a few puonds you will neeed ot drop the caloirc intake too

Smallguy i read your guide to powerlifting, do you think this will help me get to my goal of 10% BF? I just started doing Silverbacks workout program and on my off days of lifting i am going to hit the cardio and abs hard.

Also on my off days when i am going to do cardio is it good to drink a protein shake before i train cardio or afterwards?

I like ot do cardio on an empty stomach so I'd say after wards

either my journal or silverbacks routine will be fine both have worked for many people
