Can anyone advice me how can I lift the edges of my traps (Humped up } ) I do Barbell shrugs. 4 sets of 15 reps. how can i achieve my goal.

Any advice would be accepted.

genetics cant be altered. your routine is fine, just keep training to add thickness and the edges will come up over time

gp is right ypou can;t change muscle shape deadlifitng has improved my traps though.

You could try some behind the back pull ups. When I 1st started out i could only do about 6-8. Now i can do 3 sets of 8 and I can see a noticable size difference in my traps and back. These suckers are tough to do so you may need a partner to help ya get a few extra in.

Thnx Hoff its' really a great exercise, hope i will see results in 2-3 weeks. by doing 2-3 sets everyday

I highly doubt you are gonna see any results in 2-3 weeks.Give any exercise or routine changes 8+ weeks before you judge its results.

2-3 sets every day?? thats an invitation to overtraining and hitting a plateau in no time.....do it once a week....

Okay once a week. But by doing this excercise, My rear deltoids are much pumped than trapezius am i doing it worng?

Well you arent gonna get much work on your traps doing pull downs.
Upright row and shrugs are your best bets.Give it time they will come.

Can any one tell me the right excercise for trapizius. I dont feel contraction In my trapezius while i do shrugs. Pls help very keen to develop great trapizius

deadlifts bro....best excersise for traps

I read this somewhere, tried it, and it seems to work for me.

Use standing calf raise machine to do shrugs.

bb bent over rows are really good for making traps better, as well as bb shrugs with heavy weight. like gymphreak says it does take time.

hang cleans and deadlifts got mine pretty dam big ... i very rarely ever do shrugs

thnx u all for reply. I plan to go for heavy bb shrugs for a month hope will get good results soon.
