| I read about a new work out in which you stop at the top of every rep and "flex" for five seconds. Has anyone ever done this? Is it any good? |

| Arnold use to do that. It works great, when your doing your arm curls and at the top of the motion (where your arms aren't under stress), squeeze your muscles for a few seconds (Don't let your muscles relax) then lower it under control. I think it's a form of Isometrics? I use it for almost all exercises, it keeps the muscles from relaxing resulting in a better workout IMO! |
