I work out quite often and was wondering. Would martial arts, boxing, kickboxing, and other sports or training of the like decrease muscle growth or prevent it from expanding due to their streinous activities of warm up, stretching, and actual sparring and training? Would practicing martial arts such as kickboxing prevent muscles from growing even though you do workouts. Like let's say would they prevent your biceps/triceps from expanding due to their continuous movement in martial arts even though you work out? Any views and coments on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

if your diet is set up to accomodate the streneous excersise, you wont face catabolism. A good bro of mine is a muy tai fighter, and hes got almost a physique like arnold in some sense. he lifts 4 days a week, and trains muy tai 2 days a week.

i have been considering going into the UFC and the guy i talked to about getting into it said mainly its up to you to take care of your body we supply the gym you gotta go to it, im sure the same thing applies with other fighting sports like it you gotta train when your not training for that sport.
