Today when I was starting my back routine I got a massive headache. It was right behind my right ear and was so bad I couldnt even get to the second set of the first exercize. I have had this pressure before on back day but not this bad, and not on any other days. Has this happened to any of you guys? What would be causing it and is it bad? How could I avoid it in the future?

well first off, i would keep the breathing in check...most people tend to hold their breath while doing the contraction of the movement, and this builds up pressure in the system. if the breathing is in check, make sure you are drinking enough fluids, and if those two things are in check and the problem still persists, id suggest that you get it checked out...could be high blood pressure, etc...

like gymphreak said, it could be a number of things... just make sure you breath deep and drink enough h2o... so this just happens on back day?

this has happened to me before, but it turned out to be that I had popped something in my neck. I however had ignored the pain for weeks until I just couldn't take it anymore.

| YOu should at least let your physician know, you might even get him to write an order for an MRI or something like that, then you know for sure, benefits: you know nothing's wrong or you find something and fix it before it gets worse, it's not worth a serious injury that would put you down for weeks or worse.
