| how can i determine the optimum amount of weight to train with for mass building, :screwy: am i crazy to train certian body parts for size and others for definition in the same routine? any advise for training for definition? |

| Your question has a very simple answer: We are all unable to determine your strength level, but whatever weight you choose must cause failure within the given number of reps that you choose to do. Example: If you are doing a rep range of 8 you must fail at the 6th 7th or 8th rep. If you do not fail at the 8th rep add weight. If you fail at the 5th or before you are training with too much weight. NEVER sacrifice form for weight if you make this mistake you will grow slowly, and set yourself up for injury. |
