I am sure you guys have heard of this somewhere, but I happened to stumble upon it by accident. I was on an intense CKD diet several months ago and I had fairly long intervals between carb cycles. I started the diet at 196 lbs and ended at about 196 lbs. I ended up putting on some muscle and losing fat at the same time because I was on 1-t. But the thing was when on this diet, I trained like a PL and went EXTREMELY heavy and low reps but with high volume. I wasnt quite overtraining, but by the time I hit week 10 my diet forced me into an overtraning state. So in week 10 I hit the weights even harder (off 1-t by now) and tightened the diet every day till week 12. After week 12 I began to eat 5000 cal/day and gave my muscles more rest between workouts. I have since then gained 19 lbs which put me up to 215 as of today. I believe most of the 19 pounds is muscle because my strength has also gone up phenomenoly. Just recently I saw an article on this same thing. Looks like some people are having similar success by "overtraning" in a low carb diet atmosphere for several weeks and exploding with growth after. I dont know about you guys, but 19 lbs in 2 months is pretty damn good for me.

well i guess nothing can replace steroids for what they do, but for someone who has been stuck at 193-196 lbs for over a year I sure felt like I was on juice gaining so much size and strength.

It sounds like over reaching or dual factor training. Basicly low carbs but low reps allowed you to still gain as low energy expenditure, as you increased training to the point where you felt you were over trained, you were still accumalating a training effect along with the fatgue. When you increased your cals and cut the training the training effect became apparent
