Well, I realized I was over training myself but also realized I have had some great gains in strength. My bench increased, squats increased, deadlifts increased, but so did my need for recovery. Following his routine is difficult and I'm going to have to go back to the way things were.

If strength was going up, you weren't over trained. You were just pushing yourself harder than you have before. This routine is not recommended for anyone with less than 4-5 years of lifting and is not generally recommended if you aren't working with Dante. Most have no idea how to manipulate rest between sessions and cannot judge when they need the rest.

Great thank you.

Just to add. I actually started this program and found myself cutting back to only two workouts a week because of the intensity. I dumped the idea once I hit twice a week and went back to a normal program

That's exactly where I'm at now. I had incredible gains but only have been working out twice a week. And...I guess you can say I hit the same wall now I'm going back to the way I had my routine set up.
