ok,guys i need your help.i've been trying to put together a new split.but its driving me crazy.i narrowed it down to 2.please tell me which one you think is best,and why
first is
mon rest
tues arms
wed legs/delts
thurs rest
fri rest
sat chest
sun back
or this one
mon rest
tues arms
wed legs
th delts
fri rest
sat back
sun chest

i like a 3 day per week split. my spilt is as follows
mon:chest/tri's
bench press, incline press, tri push down, skullcrushers, close grip bench
tues:cardio
wed:legs/shoulders
squats, deadlifts, calf raises, db shoulder press, front and side lateral raises, shrugs
thurs;same as tues
fri:back/bi's
pull-ups, lat pull downs, bent over rows, preacher curl, concetration curl
sat:rest
sun:rest or cardio

i was doing something like yours with bi/back and chest/tri
i just felt i wasn't able to give my tri or bi a great workout after being too tired from chest and back.so i want to try and hit each bodypart once a week.but im not sure.dont want to overtrain either

trust me you are hitting them pretty hard, even though you can't push as much weight as when they have a separate day.

i hear ya.i was doing it that way for a while,its just time for a change.i just finished arm day and it was one of my best workouts .i'd like to keep bi's with tri's for while longer.you know,switch it up little.i'm not arguing with ya,in fact your routine is pretty close to my old one

yea,i think i'm gonna stick with delts/legs on wed and have thur and fri to rest
for a 4 on 3 off week

Well mine is Chest/Tri/Shoulder - Back/Bi/Forearms - Legs
I seem to be getting pretty decent growth in with that :D

i was doing something like that.i just felt i was holding out on the first bodypart i worked in order to save for the next.this way i can balst only one bodypart a day fully
