| Hey guys I've decided to start a log and track my progress hopefully i can keep myself in check with this its going to include my diet and training log in it....feedback would be great too thanks everyone :thumbs: Age:15 Height:5',5" Weight:135 Measurements ---------------- Neck:15 Upper Torso:37 Arms:13 Waist:29.5 Upper Thigh:22.5 Calf:14.5 Lifts (workout weight not 1RM ) ------------- Bench:90 lbs (possibly more not sure) Deadlift:130 Squat:130-150 ------------------------------------------------ Alright Today was a gym day so heres what I did Back Deadlifts 3/8/130 Seated Rows 3/8/90 Chins 2/10 Pulldown 1/15/75 Biceps Dumbell Curls Started at 5,10,12,15,20,25 then back down 8 reps each High Cable Curls 3/8/45 each side Cable Bar Curl 2-3/8/60 Dumbell Hammer Curl 2/8/15 Light dumbell curls to failure ( was attempting to keep a pump for work :laughing: ) Forearms Reverse Barbell Curl 5/8/35 Dumbell Wrist Curl 2/15/15 I'm not writing down my food for today because I cant even remember what I had but I will tommorow :laughing: |

Todays Diet ------------------------ Shake(1-2 Cups of skim milk,whey protein,glutamine,2 tbs of dextrose) Oatmeal Bar Fruit cup Tuna Sandwhich Fourth of a cup of cashews Hamburger helper with extra lean hamburger Shake Orange juice Handful of cashews Protein scoop in cup of milk |

| Alright today was a leg day Workout ------------------------- Leg Press 3/8/360 Squats 3/8/130 Stiff Leg Deadlifts 3/8/100 Leg Curls 3/8/105 Calf Press 5/15/270 Diet ----------------------- Shake Shake ( with banana ) 3 pieces of beef jerky 3 scrambled eggs 2 piecs of whole wheat toast 2 cups of milk large milk 2 packets of oatmeal 2 cups of milk 2 slices of cheese |

| Alright Matt here are a few of my thoughts on your diet, first (and I know you already know this but) You need to eat more. You need more carbs and protein. The cashews are a great idea, good job on those. You need to get into a routine of eating oatmeal for breakfast, it doesn't matter if its the flavored oatmeal or not, (I prefer apple cinnamon myself) and eating at least 3 eggs (like you have been doing) and try to eat 4. You can mix a shake up pretty easy at school I know I am a teacher so we are basically on teh same time frame. when you drink your shake eat 2 rice cakes (again i like the apple cinnamon but they make plain and cheddar too). thats 22 carbs. Lunch looks pretty good with the tuna sandwich but you need a few more carbs, maybe a cup of rice. does your cafeteria have a microwave available to you, if so cook about 5 cups of rice on sunday night and divide it into 1/2 c. servings and take it with you to school and eat it for lunch. Afternoon around 3 or so drink you anothe shake with 2 more rice cakes. Then your nights look ok. maybe some sort of meat before you go to bed because it will last longer in your stomach. This is just out line for you man. Protein is definetly important but carbs is what makes the body work. Keep up the good work and don't take any days off from eating. |

| yah i really need ideas and help for mixing it up I CANT STAND F'IN SANDWICHS ANYMORE ive eatin like 1000! it drives me nuts....maybe ill bring some rice and tuna to school...and i cant really make a shake at school because i dont have a blender nor do i have milk for it so thats why i have my shake in the morning...i used to make them the morning before but...they just tasted insanely gross so i was just like " BARF " cant do it |

| don't mix it with milk, whey is a byproduct of milk so when you put it back into whey it messes up the chemical composition of the whey. Put it in water and shake it up. I do it 3 times a day, some shakes are easier to mix than others so figure out which ones are good, put one serving in a ziplock bag and carry two serving around with you all the time. Get you some rice cakes too they are easy to carry around in a bag adn easy to eat while walking to class plus the don't taste that bad either. good luck |
