| Please I would like your opinions on the following: 1) Cardio is useless. If your goal is to build muscle, forget cardio. Intense training , with a diet of 85% protein , 10% carbs ( only ONE meal is to contain carbs, and that's the meal before a workout ), and 5% fats ( mono or unsaturated ) will place your body in an anabolic state, which is , in itself, a fat-burning state. Cardio is only good if you want to increase your fitness and endurance. Weight training, when done with a proper diet and good sleep is all you need to strip away fat. If you feel that you MUST do cardio, then the best time to do it would be first thing in the morning (as soon as you wake up). Because sugar levels are low after a long sleep, your body will rely on a greater percentage of fat for energy at this time , than any other time during the day. So you will burn more fat. 2) When taking steroids or other anabolic hormones, you don't need to lift heavy weights to grow big. This is a lie and is just propaganda. I mean think: When you have 1000 mg of Testosterone with maybe some GH as well circulatng in your blood, do you really need to lift heavy to grow? Even if you do a workout with p*ssy weights, you will still get huge, coz the idea is to let the juice circulate in your blood in order for it to reach your muscles. Proof: When a human male reaches his puberty period ( ages 13-17 ) his hormones go crazy. He starts to get big (become a man). His muscles grow thicker and harder, his jaw, his nose his voice becomes coarse, etc... Does he need to bench press 400 lbs to achieve this? The hormones ALONE are causing him to grow. It's the same when you take insane quantitites of "juice". You can go do 5 minutes on the stair-climber and end up with tree-trunk legs in 10-12 weeks. It's the people who train naturally who must lift heavy weights, coz if you don't lift heavy, you wont stimulate your natural GH which causes you to grow. 3) A workout should not be more than 45 minutes, and must be EXTREMELY intense ( supersets all the way with no more than 1 minute rest between sets ). You have to literally f*ck yourself over this 45- minute period, then you throw down the weights and hit the shower. This is if you're training naturally of course. Natural GH is stimulated 2 times during the day: While you are training, and while you are asleep. - a) While training, your natural GH peaks after about 20-30 minutes of an intense workout. After that, it starts to decline. So, basically, the idea is to work as hard as you can during this small time period in order to make the most of this hormone peak , and achieve maximum gains. Beyound the 45 minute mark, your hormone levles are actually lower than normal. Which means if you continue to work out, you will be placing your body in a catabolic state. - b) Sleep: The old saying "you grow while you sleep" can't be put in better words. Also, studies have shown that for some-reason, NIGHT sleep is much more beneficial than an afternoon nap- in terms of GH secretion. Durin sleep, GH is secreted at a much slower rate than during a workout, but is secreted over a much longer period (first 4 hours of sleep) So in the end, the total amount is about the same. After 4 hours of sleep, the GH starts to decline and your body starts to go into a catabolic phase. To prevent this, take some GLUTAMINE with a high-protein meal an hour or so before bed. Glutamine has been proven to slow down the catabolic state caused by sleep by as much as 70%. As soon as you wake up, take some simple sugar. (If you don't have a large bowl of fruit salad on hand, pop 2 tea-spoons of table sugar in your mouth first thing in the morning!!). After 7 or 8 hours of sleep, your body is deprived of sugar so it's a good idea to take some. | i don't know where you got this but most of it is bull shit.i don't have the time to get into all of it nowbut i will tell you 1-you need carbs AFTER your workout in order to grow and cardio is still good.just don't overdue it.do not do cardio first thing in the morning if your trying to build muscle.do it after training2-even on juice you need to lift heavy.gear is not a miracle drug,it's just an aid.if you do nothing on it you'll get nothing back.throw all that bad info away |

| 1 Cardio is not useless. In fact it increases your ptor (protein turn over rate) which is essential to adding new muscle. Its true that weightliftin alone with a good diet will strip fat off you cause when you lift heavy you tear muscle therefore your metabolism is much higher all the time as your body is in a constant state of repair. Also an Anabolic state is not a fat burning state, that is a catabolic state and I guarantee if you eat 85%protein, 10%carbs and 5%fat, you will be in a catabolic state. Ever hear of the atkins diet. Great diet for burning muscle. 2. you have to lift heavy with or without gear if you want to add muscle, period. All the gear does is allow your body to repair itself faster. 3. A workout should be 45 minutes or less. This point is true but not for the reasons you stated. Recent studies have show cortisol levels to rise after 47 minutes of intense training. When your cortisol levels get too high, youre body becomes catabolic and will start breaking down protein for food. Bad. 4. You do grow when you sleep. Thats entirely true. However, eating sugar first thing when you get up does not make a whole lot of sense. The only time you should eat sugar is after a workout along with a protein shake and it should be maltodextrin. |
