I've noticed this situation more and more lately. I know it's been prevelent in the past however I never thought anything of it as I have exercised solo the majority of my workout life. This was pointed out as uncommon since I've aquired a workout group for lack of a better name. In nearly all of the basic lifts I shake in the particular muscle group I'm working, rather noticably. This situation doesn't merely happen when going heavy. Moderate to light (not extremely light) amount of weight have this affect on me too. This is not restricted to strain as I can be perfectly comfortable with an amount of weight and the muscle shaking still occurs even at the warmup phase of exercise. I'm talking Benchpress, Squats, Leg Presses, Shoulder Presses, even Curls. Common? Uncommon? Something I should have looked into medically? The odds are in favor of me lacking some type of crucial vitamin however which exactly I'm unsure, perhaps even dehydration? Regardless, most of the members here seem to have a firm grasp of the exercise world so what better place to ask right? Since some information about myself may be needed it is as follows: 6",about 180lbs around a 32" waist and currently attempting to bulk up so eating as much as possible before stomach explosion. I've been lifting since I was 16 however none of it has been insanely heavy or exerting. Thanks in advance.

The shaking is consistant throughout, positive and negative portion of exercise. I'm not overly worried about it but with the majority not having that shaking issue I'd wonder why I am. Thanks for the help thus far.

welcome to bbf! dude your fine i get the shakes too. i call them quivers (sp?) though. to me it kinda looks like the quivers you get when your cold. i mainly get them on my last 2 sets when i am trying to do as much weight as possible and still keep it in control. bench, incline db, tri pull down. these 3 are where i get them the worst. shog:D

yeah bro that shaking I have felt as well and the same questions you asked yourself I was asking myself. After a workout I can shake for a execive time soetimes - sometimes even shaking at work if I work out in the morning. The guys at work must thik I am on drugs sometimes. I have thought about it like you had however I have never got it checked out or asked a doctor about it. For me I do overall health checks every so often and thats enough to keep me satisfied that all is ok.

Nothing wrong with it unless its causing you discomfort. I get the shakes some days too even with light weights but most days im "calm", hasnt caused any problems for me so i dont worry about it.
