| i just made a new workout and 3 day split. let me know what you guys think of it and if its too much or if its not enough. Or even if they have something to substitute that is better let me know. I'm looking to gain and i do four sets of everything just to clarify. Mon: Chest/ Tris Incline DB Bench Flat DB Bench Decline BB Bench Cable Flyes from bottom and top Push ups to failure Close grip bench overhead bb extension single arm rev grip pushdown close grip diamond push ups to failure Tues: Cardio/ Abs/ Physical Therapy for knee (torn PCL) Wed: Back/ Bis Lat pull down T - Bar rows Seated rows one arm rows back extensions db curl bb curl (negatives) single arm cable curls zottman curls Thurs: Cardio/ Abs/ Physical Therapy Fri: Shoulders/ Traps Military Press Upright Rows Lateral Raises Cable front raises w/ superset plate raise behind neck shrugs bb shrugs db shrugs Sat: cardio/ Abs Sun: OFF |

| some people do chest/bis and back/tris. that way you get the most out of that muscle rather than exhaust the secondary muscle. |

| Yeah. You get a tri workout on most chest exercises. Imo, thats too many exercises. Stick with 2-3 per bodypart. Thats 8-12 sets which is plenty. Cant do legs cause of injury? |

| oh i didnt even notice the leg part. alot of guys are more consernd with their upper bodies rather than the whole package. |

| yea i had surgery on my left knee last may and the surgeon that did it messed up bad and i have to through months of physical therapy because of that. I asked if i could do a leg workout and she said only what she has me do when im with her. i hope that helps clarify im not trying to skip out on legs.. also is there anything i can substitute for some of the exercises because i feel like my body is just use to them by now |
