The only day that gets sore the day after is when u just start weight lifting later on when u pgrade to heavy weights it does the same thing and then it does not get sore the next day. | I used ot not sweat much... but it was cause I wasn't really wamred up try donig a it od cardio first say 10 mnis then ur weights....I usually only swet bad if i'm lifitng really heavy though muscle soreness is really not a great measure of how are u trained. jsut push ur self on every set. |

The pain after training will sometimes be worse on the second day, usually for me thats how it works out. Even with the creatine there is still pain there for sure if I train hard enough. Smallguy is right though, the pain is not a measure of training effectiveness. One theory that I have on this also is the size of the muscle being trained, I have had this comment from other people I have trained. As the muscles develop and get larger, they are going to hurt more. For example, what happens after training your legs really hard? They should be sore after that. Unless of course you are well into your routine and the muscles are just used to it now. I too don't sweat that much when I train, thats just something thats different for each person I think. Some people sweat no matter what they are doing, some don't. Again, not a measure. Just concentrate on your movements and form and everything else should fall into place. Good luck !!

i try to get a good sweat goin. i do what smallguy does, get on the tredmill for a minute or two. then i stretch real good and if my heart rate isnt up then i'll take less time inbetween sets.

thanx guys..the only muscles that do get sore are my legs and triceps ..i just want to make sure i wasnt neglecting all th others....when and if they get sore should i lay off till tenderness goes away????

only thing that being sore means is a) you have lactic acid build up or b) you have a lot of micro trauma in the muscle....

Well at least you know that you hit that muscle anyways. I have known people that train their chest and wake up with pain in their legs. LOL.
