| when im lets say doing a chest press should i do alll my sets wide grip...or should i pick an even number of sets and do half wide and half close....give me adviceeeeeeeeeee |

| It depends what results you're looking for the grip targets two different areas. A closer grip will target your triceps where as a wider grip hits your chest more. |

| wide grip target outside of chest. close grip works tris more and inner chest. |

| How does the outside of the chest work versus the inside of the chest? They are the same muscle. Top vs. bottom I understand the argument (different tendon attachements, though even there I have my doubts). Outside vs. inside, I don't see it. |

| Yes it does in a way, but not true and to the Thread starter are you doing a full body workout or split? for split 4-5 chest workouts. For Str workouts BB bench press 3 sets 4-6 reps ( first set if you do more then 6 means too light and less then 4 is too heavy, add weighted till 3rd set reps be barely 4) after i just say 2 sets of close grip 6-8 reps. After that hopefully you do incline Db press, flies and dips. Enjoy |

| so basicallly doing 5 reps in a set is good |
