i tend to leave about 2 mins between each set. ive always been in the frame of mind that if you had a decent rest, your are able to train heavier and keep the excercise more creatine based and more explosive strength. but like i said, this is frame of mind, im open to other suggestions and theories to back them up. thanks

I'm "On" and my body repairs itself a lot faster and no, my routines are proabably a lot longer then yours. If I waited to catch my breathe I would be there for an hour. It's mental just keep going.

A honest 30 sec rest is BRUTAL! Way to go! Anyways, re rest periods. The answer is, it 'depends'. Here are some guidelines I have used and recommend based on recovery abilities and the affects on trained system i.e metabolic or neural system fatigue: Max Strength Training - Sets of 1-4 (very low rep range) 3-6 min rest Strength Training - Sets of 4-6 (low rep range) always 2-3 min rest Hypertrophy Training - Sets of 6-12 (med rep range) about 60 sec rest Endurance Training - Sets of 12-15+ (high rep range) 30 sec rest
