why is it.......no offense that ft people could bench or lift alot more more natural lean bodybuilders or sometimes even bulky ones....belive it or not
posted by Mikebranson
so let me unscramble that message.... Are you saying fat peeps lift more than others?

Man, honestly, if you would read your posts before hitting submit, it may save us alot of time. lb for lb, fat people are weak as hell. They might have one good, strong lift in them, but their 1rm will be so far off form their other lifts. For instance, say someone that has 40% BF can bench a max of 200lbs, he should be able to lift 185lbs for three reps, but I bet he would struggle for just two. No strength endurance at all.

fat people carry more weight on them so their body has to grow muscle in able to support itself. if you were 300lbs you would need alot of muscle to lift your fat arm. :)

and you would also waste a lot of your strength lifting your fat arm. there is no benefit to being fat, except that maybe the reason youre fat is that you ate a lot. and thats probably more reason for gaining the muscle than the fact that youre carrying fat around.

Ha I saw a really really fat guy buying creatine today and I thought of this post. I really wanted to ask him what he thought he was getting out of it but I didn't.

maybe he thinks it helps him lift and exercise better, and if so I say let him run with the placebo effect. Whatever he needs to stay on track.... right? I'd advocate tying a hamster to a cord around your neck if you honestly believe that will make the difference between success and failure for you yknow..

You should have cause you might have learned something. Fat people benefit from creatine just like skinny ppl do. All it really does is speed the muscle recovery process between sets.

posted by howlowcanigo
Not 200lb guys, guys that are over 200lbs overweight. The gym is premier fitness though. I'm not saying really obese people don't work out but I just don't see alot of them.
