this seems to be the most bitched about part of the body. now i feel i am pretty big for my age and i have a good chest but the middle doesnt seem to have enough muscle IMO. now will i need to get bigger to see this? more cut? or is it genetics? i feel my outer chest is alot bigger than the middle.

for the past 8 weeks i've been doing close grip bench, flyes, you name it...to target the middle chest. i feel it hits it but the outter pec gets the most of it. anyone have any idea of what to do or if its a problem i cant help? maybe im too picky. in pictures it looks fine but i still feel it needs work.

any help would be awesome!

what i find that helps me is proper form and FOCUS. you gotta feel the inner pecs working and use that. do some experimenting with your form while concetrating on feeling the inner pecs working and you will get a great workout.

I got same problem, i do cable crossovers and with each rep hold the contraction for a sec or two ..seems to hit the spot. dont know if its going to help bring out the inner. Make sure you got an equally strong upper chest because thats where most of the definition is gonna show because the muscles are closer together at the top than bottom. try close grip incline instead of flat, crossovers and incline flyes.

yea i figured it was from not doing incline chest stuff. through the 8 weeks i have alot of improvment on the lower half of the chest. its been hard to do incline because it hurts my once dislocated shoulder. just got it x-rayed actually and everything is feeling better. my next cycle im really going to focus on my upper chest.

What do you do for incline chest?

I really stick to incline dumbells, i love it. I dont like bar too much because i have a fkd up shoulder too and with the dbs your not locked into a position, and i put up a lot of weight on the dbs, both flat and incline.

im 21. 5'11" 231lbs 11-13% BF been working out since i was 17 on and off and have been going strong for almost 2 years. 2 years ago i was 150lbs do to being and idiot and partying. i've done 2 cycles so far. i know steroids for a 21 yearold might be too young in the eyes of some of you

ohh im similar but lighter, damn you got some pounds on me, well i still party and im not stopping because im in college and this is the time to have fun but anyway, 5'11, 190, probably around same BF, still no gear tho, i can wait, but i do want to shape my chest better, its been bothering me.


Close grip feels like it hit it hard, but i still haven't got any real results, lol, been working out for four years.

yea when i do close grip i can feel it. been going light so i can concentrate on it. then light flyes after. like i said, i felt it helped the bottom half of on the middle chest. more cleavige for sure but i think its just the case of getting comfortable with incline. hopefully that will help. i'll be hittin it twice a week here in the next couple months.

chest is the only thing i try to do twice a week, and i do tris seperate, so i should get gettin it all in, its just annoying that i dont have good genetics, haha
