I get this pain in my shoulders when I bench. It happens right when I put the weight back and let go of the bar. Its only when I go heavy too. Could this be cause my shoulders are weak? The pain goes away withing a few seconds though, but it hurts a lot. Has anybody esle had this too?

this seems to be happening alot to people haha. it might be bicep tendonitis. i know that can affect your shoulders.

ok lay off the bi's for a week or two. warm them up really good when you go workout. ice them everyday 20min at a time and take lots of ibuprofen

I did when i first started, you deffinately need to build up some strength.after about 6 monthes i tried to go heavy and slowly started working my way back up.im now at 385-405 on a good day.one more thing my biggest gains came from the squat rack trick.no spotter needed.it is kind of hard explain.you might be able to get someone at gym to explain it.good luck.by the way it took me about 14 monthes to hit 385 another 2-3 monthes to hit 405.
