Ok I've been working out for about 6 weeks now and when I first started I weighed 296 :banghead: and like about 3 days ago when I weighed myself I was at 283, but for some reason every day after I weighed 283 I've been gaining a Pound -_- and now im at 287, can anyone tell me why is this? I've been eating healthier than before, No Soda, No Candy, Nothing greasy, all wheat, Chicken Breast, Fruit, Salads, etc. I've been doing 45 mins Cardio, and 1hr 15 mins all Weights, everyday. Do I need to increase my cardio and reduce my weight training? Can anyone plz help me out if you can.

At that weight, its probably water. Weigh 1st thing in the morning rt after peeing, but before anything else. You didn't gain 4 pounds of muscle in 3 days. You're going to overtrain, but losing the weight is a more serious concern I think.

Hmm... someone from work told me the same thing considering I drink like 8-10 bottles of water withing 13 hrs  I drink like 5 at work and like 5 at the gym. So basically its Probably all water weight than? Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Like do I need to cut down on water?

Water is definitely good, don't cut back on water. Don't obsess on the scale's number. You can weigh yourself once a day, but more than that is counter productive. Your going to see lots of weird things on the scale while dieting, keep dieting anyway.

Dude, I was at your weight less than a year ago. Stay on track, you'll get there. My scale said 237 this morning...very happy to see it. I still have a long way to go, but my point is if I can do it you can too. The longer you focus on health, the easier it gets. I'm not trying to downplay the importance of weight training, but at this point for you, the most important thing is that you do REASONABLE cardio regularly and maintain a caloric deficit consisting of clean food. Your diet is the most important thing right now. I didn't even touch weights till I hit 250, but then again everyone is different. Your weight will fluctuate WILDLY based on several factors. Water, food, time of day...etc. Weigh yourself in the morning and at night for a few days just to get an idea of how much your weight fluctuates based on time of day. The morning number is the one to go with though. I personally notice a 3-4 lb difference between morning and night usually.

Ya eventually I understand my weight will jump up and down between 1-4 Lbs. but it just worried me cuz it kept increasing instead of jumping =P. But thx for the advice guys calmed me down a bit =). So you suggest to lose my weight first b4 building up?

Well when I did my cut from 194lbs down to 140lbs I didn't lift at all really and it was the biggest mistake of my life. I sacrificed so much muscle so my advice would be to do alot of cardio and light weight lifting. Remember this if you lift weights for an hour your muscles will continue to burn calories up to 12 hours after.
