I'm on my first week of my 'proper' workout routine. I done legs yesterday, and I feel like a newborn Bambi. I can barely walk!! Today I done chest and bis.. and I can tell that I'm gonna be sore from that too. After you do the same routine for awhile, do you continue to get sore every week from each workout? Or does it stop?

It's good to change up your routine from time to time. Eventually your body gets used to the same exercises so you need to surprise it. If you're consistently busting your ass, you'll continue to get sore but it may not be as deep after a while.

What I am finding in my first week or so back is that I am getting that newbie soreness where not only are your muscles not used to the abuse but your tendons are not up to speed either. You will proably find that in the first week or two you will get a decent amount of pain close to your joints and muscle attachements while your tendons strengthen up a bit.

After "quitting" and coming back to the sport so many times I've found that the soreness usually goes away after a good 2-3 weeks.
