Maybe he figuires its advice. Not sure what you're looking for here? Do you want specific foods high in protein or meal ideas in either case I'll through you a couple foods to help. Turkey Breast, Chicken Breast, Eggs, Lean Beef, Cottage Cheese, and Fish. Pretty basic stuff so not sure if it helps.

Eat your protein, don't drink it. Force feed yourself every 2 hours wether you want it or not. 200g of meat or or equivalent in cottage cheese or eggs to start with. When you can do this then up the quantity, or add in a decent amount of carbs. My old training partner (a Mr Universe) used to always say to me - want to look like Victor Richards, then you got to eat like Victor Richards. That simple philosophy worked for me - 143kg now, started at 70kg!

IMO there is nothing wrong with drinking protein. your body sees it as protein wether you drink or eat it. but i will agree whole food is better for you.

I agree with Conan the vast majority of your p[rotien nneds ot come form real food. they only time I recommend a shake over whole foods is post workout.

Well I guess its more fun to eat it than drink it either way.

Not to be rude but I have packed on 73Kg of muscle since I started training, and protein drinks never added muscle, they supplemented my intake at specific times.I have experimented with many different diets, including eating 3kg of steak a day and few carbs, 90% protein powder diets, and everything else you could think of. Actually I have written an article on my webiste that explain it better: Protein Drinks - why they don't work (http://www.conanstevens.com/big-huge-grow-giant-bodybuilding-gain-muscle/gain-muscle-loose-fat-diet-foods-and-protein/protein-drinks---why-they-do-not-work.html) Basicalyl I have had times when I have relied on powders for protein and my growth stopped, I can support my weight but not grow. If I eat the same intake the I start to grow again, the article explains it in detail.

i grow fine with a couple a day :) there are more nutrients but i know a few national competitors who drink protein. may not be as good as whole food but its still protein. but they do eat whole food in the 14 weeks they diet.

hell, i do both. i eat just as much as i would if i didnt have the protien shakes, and then i supplement with the shakes. its a nutrient, and of course it makes a difference, but eating real food is more effective.
