| NOt that I am aware of. The only thing I can think of is someone who is very young lifting very heavy can damage growing bones. At 16, your growth plates are most likely closed. I wouldn't worry about it. You are not going to stunt your growth at your age with lifting. |

| hey guy First thing to do is to pick up a copy of Strength Training Anatomy by Frederic Delavier .. Its not expensive and you can get it at amazon or Barnes n Noble..This book shows how the excersize is done and also what muscle groups are worked. I highly recommend it. If you are not shure if you are old enough ask your doctor. better to be safe than sorry. I can promise you that weight training will in no way stunt your growth. It will make you big as hell lmao.. Just remember that proper rest and diet is just as important as your workout..You have to feed those new muscles. You destroy muscle fibers when you workout and they grow whe you rest Get yourself Some Enlarge 2 by prolabs,,You can get 10lbs for $37.00. it has all the esentials and an ameno acid profile which aids in processing the protien into those muscles. Something else you should know is that your body produces muscle cells when you are young and stops somewhere in your 20s..so the more you make when you are young the better... Good luck with your training its a great lifestyle. I've been working out for 33 years and I still love it. Mod@undergroundfreaksforlife |
