| I keep wanting to post up a new split so you guys could take a look and give me some ideas on what to change up, but with how random my buddy is, it's kind of impossible to plan...so I'm gonna try keeping a log so you guys can give me some feedback.... Well, I had the weekend off, and did chest today: Incline--9, 8, 6 Bench--10, 8, 8 Triceps pressdown (machine)- 10, 10, 8, 6 Rope pulldown- 12, 10, 8 Decline--10, 10, 8 Single arm cable pushdown--10, 8, 8 Cable kickbacks- 9, 9, 8 Treadmill - 15 @ 5.5 |

| Had to take time off, so lost a lot of strength, pushing little girl weights til I can get back up with the big girls..:( Today, went jogging outdoors for about 30 mins nonstop, not sure how far, I think the track is about a mile and a half, so I think I did 2.25ish?? |

| Ok, I'll start posting weights as well....here's what I did today squats- 12@65, 12@85, 12@105 stiff leg deadlifts- 12@65, 12*2@85 shrugs- 12@65, 12@85 reverse lunges w/dumbell- 15lbs-10, 12, 12 military press- 12, 8, 12, 8 @ bar leg extensions- 12@75, 12*3@95 standing calf raises- 12@75, 12@95, 12*@115 I think there was another one in there, but I'll be damned if I can remember...forgot to bring a notepad today, so working from memory... |

| Aaaccckkk!!!! 5:30am memories!!! That dude is satan himself!! :laughing: Well, instead of going to the gym on Sunday I went jogging on the trails...4 miles about 45 minutes. Took Monday off, and today started back up with legs and shoulders Squats-12@65, 10@95, 2*9@105 Upright rows-4*8@bar Stifflegg deadlifts- 12@65, 2*12@95 Extensions- 10@75, 12@75, 12@90 Military press- 3*9@bar, 12@bar Reverse lunges- 3*9 w/15lb dbs standing calf raises- 3*12@87.5 Pretty much the same as last week, but went up 10lbs on the squats..need to change it up next week, maybe side lunges and stepups...? Gonna have more time for a bit to work out, lost my job this past friday...lack of funding to continue the project I was assigned to... |

| OK, got off track for a bit, but back on top of things now....went jogging today, 30min/3.3 miles. I'm dreading going back into the gym, gold's is usually crowded anyway, it's going to be a nightmare!! I just realized I'm only 40 lbs away from my last squat goal, which was my weight...sweet!!!!! Wonder what to set my next goal for.... |

It takes a lot of finesse, balls, and beauty to get them into the country, and I'll have no denegrating of the trade on my thread!!! Took yesterday off, now I'm sitting here, hungover, trying to forget how much I drank at the gay club last night, and about the two am taco bell trip.....starting crazy cleansing fruit flush today, agreed to it as a motivational thing for one of my friends..what the HELL was I thinking!!! :aah: nothing but 6ounces of protein shake every 2 hours today until 6, then I get a salad and 3-6 ounces of lean meat...then for two days, nothing but a serving of fruit every 2 hours, then a salad and protein shake at 6....this is f'n nuts....... |

| Cardio day... stairmill-15min@ level 8 treadmill- 2min@3.7, 13@5.6, 2@5.8, 5min cooldown=1.88miles, 23min I think I need a bigger gym towel for cardio days...I overheat at the slightest exertion, and usually like to murder myself on the treadmill, so about halfway through, my poor little towel is almost useless and my face is corvette red!! Doesn't matter how much water I drink... |

| Easy day today, kinda out of it for some reason.... lat pulldowns- 12@40, 10@50, 6@60 Single arm cable curls-10@20, 8@20*2 seated low rows- 12@40, 10@50*2 preachers w/ezbar- 10@30*3 h.s. iso lat high row- 12 & 10 w/45's, 10 w/55 hammer curls 8@12*3 hyperextensions-12@25*3 hanging leg lifts- 2 sets of 25 reverse grip curls w/straight bar- 12@20*3 Tried the new cardio equip they got in a few weeks ago, it kinda simulates the way you move when you're rollerblading...killed the outside of my thighs...only did it for 10 minutes before I had to get off...def gotta give that sucker more of my time! |

| Yeah, that 3 day fruit flush lasted a day and a half! By 3 on the second day I'd only hit 236 calories...next thing I knew I woke up with taco bell wrappers and shredded lettuce and cheese all around me.... |

| bwaaaahahahaha I think you told me. Anyhow, don't ever try to do anything so crazy like that again. You don't have enough will power and you are only starving yourself which hold no benefits anyhow. A well balanced diet beats any trend hands down. have some potatoes/rice/pasta no more than a half a cup a serving with some meat less than 8 oz eat about 4-6 of these a day, you know this. veggies, and salads for cravings with shakes |

| SHIT!!!! I've just started back up with forced reps to try to increase strength on my bench, and now I may be out a partner....I start a new job on Monday as a legal sec, but the hours are different, I'll be gettin to the gym at 6:30ish, when my friend goes at 4:30...wtf do I do now??? It's not as if gym buddies grow on trees!!! Sorry, had to bitch there for a minute....I'll suck it up and be a big girl...I'll just go back to dumbells or something...sigh...maybe I can persuade him to go later, or save chest for the weekends... |

| Do some bottom up and partial rep benching on a smith machine. Works great when you dont have a workout partner. |

| Thanks for the help Estray, you're advice is always appreciated!! My back and arms are KILLING me today.....had back yesterday, I hurt so damn good! My buddy's been working with me on forced reps, I do catch him for a few sets, and on chest days he really pushes me with dumbell presses to try to even out the inequality in strength, which is helping to increase the load my back can take...so by about halfway through I couldn't feel my arms or back, and today they just plain hurt....damn, I love this shitt!!!!!!!!!!! |

| The reason behind the 15min varies. My gym has a new cardio machine that simulates rollerblading, for the best description...I set the tension higher than I should have a couple times and couldn't move anymore. On other days, the ones with speeds listed, it was deliberate. Forgive me, as I cannot remember where I read it, but there was an article or post on hiit training, which also suggested another form...the guy who wrote it posed that doing a 5 minute warm up, going 15 minutes at high intensity, then a 5 minute cooldown, would be more effective at burning fat with the same less catabolic bonus, if done in such a way as your distance increased a little bit each time. I was giving it a try to see how effective it would be, if at all...that and I was kinda pressed for time around then. I prefer to train with a partner on upper body days, as that part has always been weak as hell. He helps me force out the reps, and I don't have to worry about dropping them and injuring myself. It works for him too, so he doesn't have to look for a spotter either. |
