Hi Im 115lbs and 18 years old. I do excersice about 2-3 times per week. Over the last 6 months I know I have been getting stronger. I currently eat around 120 grams of protein per day and have a caloric intake of around 2200. The thing is lately my arms are getting real sore as i upped my weights and I think i Might be doing something wrong.

I currently have an ez barbell curl bar at 75lbs (I usually dont use this). And I work out with 20lb dumbells. I can do at least 25 curls standing up (real curls not cheating by swinging my arms). I do about 25 reps and 3 sets. Than I do around 3 sets of BArbell military presses at around 20 reps each. Than I do about 3 sets of front raises at around 10 , i can barely do the 10 as my shoulder really hurts. I do around 3 sets of side raises at liek 15 reps using 10lb weights.
And sometimes i do pushups I can do around 60-70 good pushups. and sometimes i subsitiue curls for hammer curls.

Now My question is should I being doing anything else?, as Im having a feeling I might not be working everything i should be but I have ABSOLUTELY no idea on how to create a proer rountine ( well more like 3 differnt routines as I believe I should probably have 3 differnt for the week)

Thanks very much for reading this post and thanks ahaead of time for the suggestions

I usually eat good stuff. I eat like eggs, tuna, Lots of Baked beans, steak, shrimp, whey protein powder. I rarely eat anything bad like mcDonalds and such as that stuff is just crap. I beeleive my maintenance caloric intake is like 1800 so at liek 2300 im adding 500 a day.

Do you think im overtraining at all?

Maybe i'll post in the right thread,

Thanks very much for your input

At 115lbs i think the last thing you should be thinking about is eating clean.

Do you think what I usually do is enought though or should I do somethig differnt?, forgot to mention I do have access to a weight machine for my legs.

One last question should I be doing as many curls as I can possibly do on each set? because on many sites it says do like 14 but I can do more than that, if I really try I think I can get like 30-35 but my arms would feel like there ready to fall off.

thanks

use more weight keep it at about 10-15 reps, obviously if you have all the weight you can put on it on and you do 15reps and feel that you can do more do more, but dont drop the weight so you can do more reps. as far as what else you should do there is a large number of lifts you should do but if im understanding it right your equipment is limited. you really need to get your legs and back worked along with everything else you are working.

also at 18 and 115 you need to be on an all you can eat diet unless you are 3ft tall, clean sloppy it shouldnt matter eat it. your protein intake needs to increase i would say try to take that up to like 200+g per day, and take your cals up to about 4000+ if you can.

one more thing how tall are you?

yeah dont worry about eating clean....115 lbs at 18??? you need to eat everything in site. make sure your eating 7 meals a day. dont worry if its mcdonalds and if your looking forward to your next meal you aint eating enough. as for training focus on compound lift before iso's. you gotta build a solid base first so do things such as squats and deadlifts and eat like a madman and youll grow....
