| Hey guys, I just got my Basic date for Combat Control and I am adding more to my training regime to get me ready for INDOC and the Pipeline. The things I have been told to practice is of course: Push ups, Sit ups, Flutter kicks, Pull ups, Swimming, and Running. I have been doing Ins and Outs for the pushups (20 every time I hit a door way, which ends up being around 600+ a day.) Do sets of 60- muscle failure on situps and 100 flutter kicks. I am a Cross Country runner and I am confident in my ability. I hit the pool as often as I can, but I need to find more time... and I do pull ups, pull downs, dips, and other tri workouts every time I am at the gym. (3x a week) I was told weights are a good secondary wkout but the things listed should be high on the priority list. what do you guys think, what would you add to increase your chances of success? I would like some input on if I am doing the right things, what should I add, etc... Thanks Matt |
