Hey guys I have a bad shoulder which is getting better but I am wondering if you guys have an exercise that works chest very well, with minimal shoulder strain. The bench kills it .. lol. Any suggestions on my shoulder friendly ones would be great, Thanks

Not totally sure so dont quote me...but wont using a machine for bench take the stress off your shoulders a bit because the weight is supported and you dont have to use your stabalizer muscles as much?? I'm just guessing maybe someone else can tell me if im right?

Yeah probably the machine weights like bench on smith machine or chest press, just not a good idea to use it for a long period of time could be counter productive. No matter what you do for chest, shoulders will pretty much be used to a degree, you cant isolate chest completely. But if bench 'kills it' then instead of making it worse, just wait out until your shoulder is better and you can train properly.

Thanks for advice, I do find the machines a bit easier and because they are steadier I find I can concedntrate on squeezing my pecs harder when im lifting. My shoulder doesn't kill me, but definately gives out first. I would wait longer, but ive been out 1.5 in total from excercises and I ain't waiting anymore.
