OK I know i can go to abcbodybuilding.com and get a list of like 50 different triceps workouts, but what do you all think are the most effective?

i like to do close grip bench, one arm overhead extensions,skull crushers,and if i can handle it i go to dips. sometimes i do the dips first.

Try all of them and see which ones you like best. I do different tricep exercises almost every week.

I have been basically sticking to a select few exercises for the triceps, some of them, if not all have been mentioned already.

These have worked very well for me, and I am happy with the results:

1) Tricep pushdown, using lat bar and machine (close grip)
2) The infamous kickbacks (always provide a lot of pain and burn)
3) lying dumbell pullover/extension

Also to mix it up once in a while I will go to dips and push-ups. It always amazes me how sore you can get just by switching it up once in a while.

Skullcrushers are the best exercise for triceps I havent met one person who hasnt gotten a awesome burn from it.

I do Skullcrushers also and it is a good exercise.
kickbacks also work great.
i also do Tricep pushdown.

i do Tricep pushdown 1st then skull crushers and then kickbacks.
I also do 1 thing but dont know the name of it >_<

I find that kickbacks work best for me if I'm trying to cut rather than build mass. Many people use way to much arm motion and this is an exercise that requires very strict form to make the most of it.
