| Someone please tell me!!! This is mad...the other day I was in the shopping city and I saw this guy who was like about 10 stone (140lbs) and I swear to god he had the biggest most defined muscles Ive ever seen - I was like "what the hell am I eating all this food for now" - will someone tell me how these little guys get so big without getting so big? Plus any of you seen the olympics recently? These little guys are powerhouses - lifting like 28stone at around 65kgs bodtweight....so how do they get so strong without getting so huge all over? |

| Yeah, genetics plays a really big role. The rest of it is training style and diet. Some guys go for big weights and only train for that. They do what they can to keep their weight down, but get strong too. BBers are trying to get big and strong. This is why we eat the way we do. For example, an Olympic lifter train the core muscle. They know they are very important. A strong core can mean a big lift, even with little arms. Second thing is the Central Nervious system (CNS) Having a CNS that can take alot of abuse and shock is good too. The last thing you have to realize is that these guys ONLY train for certain lifts. For example, a PLer only lifts to strengthen their deadlift, squat and bench. The other exerices they do are only geared so that they can get a bigger number, not just big muscles. |
