During most of my trianing sessions I always push as far as I can, but in doing so I lock up like concrete. Any specific ways of reducing the amount of latic acid build up?

Any help would be great

Sorry about mis-type on thread name.

anything is good, but remember your body can only absorb so much, cani is right, mag and potassium are good, but as far as bananas go, there ok but they have a lot of natural sugar in them, so try getting an actual mag and potassium supplement, that should help, and yes drink lots of water, im up to two gallons a day, and if your goin to failure on exercises and getting that lactic acid buildup, try resting for a few seconds and hitting it again to work your muscles to their maximum potential, that always gets me sore

That is exactly what I'm doing at the moment but i really hate it when I freeze but thanks for the advice

just curious how long do you rest between sets?

posted by wcu_thrower71
and when I mean rest for a bit, I mean in your last set of that exercise, because if your going to workout, why not work the muscles to their maximum potential, so if you got to failure on your last set of each exercise you do, and you get the lactic acid buildup like we were talkin about, rest when you plateau for a few seconds so it dicipates and continue, because you know you can get more hahaha!!!!!!!! dont give up because of the lactic acid, the pain makes you stronger, just dont hurt yourself
