I keep hearing that all muscles needs equal training and that u shouldnt treat a muscle group different than others...

Well Im focusin more now on my abs and shoulders since they r my weak places but Is it enough to train em once per week , and if all muscles should have equal training time why do ppl tend to train their abs more than twice a week shouldnt they give it time to Heal??
