| sup fellow bb members i need to sum advice i recently seeked a fitness assement and i was told i needed to lose about 20 pounds of body fat since i took a brake from working out so long so i went on feeling happy about losing fat so i worked out as normal did cardio but insted of doing free waights i figured i give resistance training a try and cardio so now i lost 12 pounds of body fat in 2 weeks my resistance training is going well and my problem is that i try to do free waights aka bench and barbell i found that i lost alot of strenght and i can no longer bench wut i used to any help or advice would be much aprecciated thanks bbforums members |

| I would suggest that perhaps you need to take the weight loss a little bit more slowly. There is no point in loosing weight if some of that is going to be muscles. Try shaving the weight off, maybe a pound or so per week, no more. That way you can keep your muscle, perhaps even build on it a bit will loosing weight. |

| No problem buddy, just keep it slow and progressive and you will do fine. |
