umm just wondering, my entire life I've been doing every set of every exercise to failure. I'm bulking, and doing 6-12 rep range sets. so should you be doing every set to failure?

Its all about doing what works for you. I know people who do and some that don't. You want to always trick your body, so try it sometimes.

No not every set to failure- you are meant to push and test yourselfbut if yuo do not do every set to failure then it does not mean that your body will not grow. Actually you are only menat to do one set to failure for the body part you are working. Doing somethin to failure means tearing the tissue till you cannot tear it any longer - the job is done. If you hit a nail flat into a piece of wood whats the point of hiutting it again. Your body will grow regardless of failure - if you trrain it hard enough. It would be like saying - do yuo need to be fully exposed to sun light to get some colour/tan or partially. Muschle growth has the sane concept as in you do not need to go all out for growth - just as you do not ned to burn yuorself like a egg to get colour in your skin. I hope this answers your question.
