| hey guys... Im sick and tired of everything...went to the gym today and as usual came out thinking why do I bother Ive been training for ages and have tried many different routines...i just cant seem to get consistency enough to see results... im tired and really need help how do u stay committed to work out every other day and eat the right foods? some days I dont feel like eating anything... I feel depressed most of the time cos im broke and heading nowhere I see all the guys at my gym laffin and havin fun and to be honest I aint got shit - im 5 ft 9, weigh 154lbs...I can barely bench 40kgs and thats no lie I really respect the guys who go at it day after day and keep going... the ones u KNOW want retults and are focussed... I want the body...but how doi STAY focussed.... How do i stop making EXCUSES and puting things off till tomorrow, and tomorrow, until one day there will be no tomorrow... and most imprtantly, how can I escape my own mind...the bad experiences I have had which haunt me every day....I want to lose them and get on with my life please - any advice really appreciated... |

| bro, seems to me that you have some deep rooted problems. What bad experiences do you have haunting you? Are they gym related or life experiences? We can probably assist if they're gym related, however, if they're life related you really might want to see a shrink. And listen, talking to someone about your life problems isn't a bad thing, shrinks aren't taboo like they use to be. You need to give us more info on why your having trouble staying focused and what's truly bothering you and i'll certainly help the best i can! |

| Sounds like you have depression bro. I say see shrink and have them recommend a therapist who can also perscribe. (i forget the technical name for it) My wife struggles with depression and you show the signs of it. I have seasonal depression and tanning beds really help out alot. |

| i used to go down the beach and tan around hot chicks and that makes me feel good :) it takes 50 minutes to get to the beach from here and i bring a friend along and listen to music and talk and laugh. Because there was hardly any sun this summer i didnt go much. it was the worst summer i have ever had. Rain rain rain. summer is on its way in USA and you should go down the beach if u live near one. |

| Hey buddy I know how you feel a bit I am somewhat dedicated but not where I want to be, I just can't get the diet down, I am such a picky eater it kills me, I eat horrible then wonder why I seem to have hit a plateau. Anyways my suggest is maybe get a trainer for a visit every 2 weeks or maybe once a month, just someone you kinda have to answer too a bit or just someone who will have recorded results, diet information so you can track your advancements, maybe that would help. I am considering it myself. Anyways keep working for it guy, even if you don't increase alot, don't give up or you will loose what you got. |

| Motivation is what you want ???? The best thread from this site is one called what motivates you. Do a search on it and have a read. If you have trouble finding it let me know - it has like over 5 pages of motication articles and peoples responses as to what motivates them. |

| stop feelin sorry for yourself! get your ass in the gym and get it pumped!! u must know that everytime you hit the gym and do something you are better than you were yesterday!!you may not become a finalist in mr o but shit people people will know! start with your abbs..get egg carton abbs and the chicks are yours! |

| LOL Thanks guys U know what - I once heard that when life keeps throwin u at walls eventually itll throw u against one so hard itll give u the momentum to get over it... Bein here shows sometimes u just gotta man up...suck it up and do your best....the rest is up to the big G BY the way I hit the gym kinda hard today and Ive had MORE energy to do my nightshift...how weird is that? usually idf I dont hit the gym im more tired.. cheers again lads.. |
