| iv been lifting seriously for about 4 months now and i have just started to realise that im getting quite bad pains in my wrist whilst lifting. its only just started happening (within the last week) is their anything i can do to help this. has anyone had any problems with their wrists while lifiting? cheers. |

| i usualy just ice it down after a workout if it hurts bad |

| My left wrist has been giving me some trouble lately. As said above, ice it after training and you might want to try some wrist straps. I hurt mine doing flat bench press because my wrist was bent backward with the weight in my fingers instead of reasonably straight with the weight in my palm. So, bad technique can cause it. If it's getting worse then take some time off and avoid anything that causes pain. Can you describe what causes the pain and what type of pain it is?.. because tendonitis is very common too which usually travels along the ulnar. |
