| hi. I wanted to know if anyone can suggest what are good snacks for in between meals. I eat every 3 hours but i have trouble thinking of good snacks to eat. I am aiming for getting lean and cut. I am also a vegetarian, sort of... any suggestions thanks.. ebatz |

| You shouldn't really be hungry in between the meals. :P What are your stats, and how many carbs, protein, fat and calories are you taking in? MOP |

| i weigh 118 lbs. I just recently gained some weight.. I got sick... I want to turn what I have into muscle.... I am 5'5" I am a female.. small build... I take in around 1200 or less calories.. I eat lots of veggies.. for example.. I eat oatmeal for breakfast than i eat some baby carrots... than I eat some veggies for lunch and than another snack like fruit and than I eat like a salad or more veggies for dinner.. but i get hungry very fast... what are good snack ideas to get lean and cut... thanks.. ebatz |

| well u said ur "sort of" a vegetarian, but do u eat fish? Tuna is a great snack for dieting, at least it has worked for me. Also, apples are a good snack for dieting, anything with high fiber. For example, if im ever hungry before bed, ill eat a bowl of high fiber cereal (all bran, total, wheaties etc). good luck with it. |

| i do eat fish once in a while... is a canned tuna ok, if so how much of a serving is good for a snack.. what other choices do i have for breakfast besides oatmeal , and for dinner is tricky any suggestions.... by the way I am located in bklyn, ny.. are there any good personal trainers who can help me with nutrition and training to meet my goal.. thanks |

| yea canned tuna is the only kind of tuna ive ever eaten, just look at the nutritional value, it should have something like 100 calories and around 19g protein i think. just make sure that this would fit into your daily amount of calories |

| oh ok thanks... what other types of protein are good, like is tofu good to use so I can get lean and cut..... :confused: |
