Hi everyone! im becci and i weigh 155lbs
Before i went on the CUTTING OUT CARBS DIET i weighed 170lbs wich i hated and now i love the way i look so im just out to prove to you that the diet i have been using only for 8 weeks now can really work.
I do admit that cutting out foods like pasta and bread was hard because they are the foods i used to love but i got over that and now im very happy with the way i am.
The magic was that i was loosing about 8lbs a every 2-3 weeks.
I hope i have inspired you to that the same root i chose and loose weight fast.

Some of you may think that this diet is the same as the atkins but its waaayyyy different! first of all the atkins diet can kill you of make you very sick. In the atkins you eat NO carbs and when you have finished it and go for the breadbin you just thor it straight back up agen because your body doesnt know wot 2 do wit it because it has been deprived it for so long and has learned to survive without it.
The diet i used let you eat about 1 or maybe 2 portiens a day of carbs and by doing this you dont completly cut it out, letting your body adjust to working with alot less carbs. KEEP AT IT AND IT WILL WORK MIRICLES :P

Hi all. Low Carb!... I am 33 and I've been doing this for about two years. Lost 19kilo and stayed that weight for over a year (starting weight 74k, now 55k). Dropping down again now to loose the last 4. I love doing weights, working 3 splits a week and this WOE really helps. Loads of good pure Protein for the BodyBuilding and keeping the carbs low helps cutting. :D
I don't like Atkins it gives Low Carbing a bad rep. :evil: I don't eat high fat and NO carbs. I eat good fats and LOW carbs (all low GI foods) :-) Try it guys if you havent, it is the perfect companion to weight training.

a low carb diet while trying to gain muscle doesnt work! You need at least 2 grms of carbs per pound of body weight plus good quality protein to make mass gains! (by mass i mean quality muscle mass with minimal fat deposits)

If you have the mass and want to shredd then u need to drop the carbs eating the bulk of your daily allowance b4 and after your workout and not eating any carbs after 6pm and incrasing your protein intake alot to compensate for the drop in carbs! During this phase you will not build any muscle but drop the body fat and condition the body the way you want to (theres alot more involved than just low cabs for effective shredding)

You will find you will lose strength as you dont have enough carbs to fuel your workouts.

For example if you weigh about 220 lbs and you wantto shred in seven day cycle you will need 5 low carb days and 2 high carb days

On the low carb days dont exceed 250g of carbs
On a high carb day you want to be shooting for 500-750g depending on look and cardio etc etc (not exact figures but ball part)

Your diet should be 80% fish and 20% other meat sources and always include 2 protein shakes! Get your workout done within the 1st 4 hours of when you wake up as your testosterone levels are the highest and the fact that you want to consume the bulk of your carbs around your training time and have the rest of the day to chill

When bulking up eat clean but go high on the carbs. Im 220 lbs and i go as high as 900g per day depending on how i feel and look. Ill eat the bulk of my carbs in the morning and afternoon not eating any carbs after 8pm to prevent fat storage.

I'm not trying to gain that much muscle!!! My god 700g of carbs a day.. I would turn into a Puffer Fish! I am basically getting rid of body fat and adding muscle at the same time. If I were aiming to be huge I would have upped my carbs. There is no way on this earth I would eat more than around 40g of carbs a day at the mo. I am a 5 ft 3, female looking to loose 4k of excess fat and define my body. I would like to add i have gained substantial muscle mass whilst low carbing and eating around 130g of protein per day.
