does anyone have a juicer and if so is it worth it? i was thinking of getting one and that way i could make fruit and veggie mix by the pitcher and freeze it in individual water bottles or something. im trying to cut down on the 8,996 tupperware containers i take to work.

I don't have a juicer specifically, but I do have a magic bullet blender that is also a juicer. It's great for me because I mix my protein shakes in it and it has different sizes of cups and pitchers, I get tired of cleaning the blender and the cup size ones work well. The juicer I have only used once worked pretty good, but definetly worth it just for the blender. Check it out it's pretty cheap.

i own a juicer but it is a hassle to clean.. if you want one get a strong one like from jack lallane or whatever that guys name is.. it is strong and it takes the whole fruit and veggie.

i just borrowed an old one from a friend and cleaning it was a pain. this was an older one and i would like to see a newer one. i was looking on ebay at the one ebatz mentioned from jack lalanne.

I have the lalane one and it's not easy to clean either. SO much so that I haven't seen it since I first bought it. Used it once and it found it's way into the garage. Ex-wife probobly has it now.

no kidding, thats supposed to be the best one out there. would you say that its worth it to use it once a week and make a couple pitchers of juice to freeze or still not worth it.

I never tried the jack lallane one. but i guess i will look for a better one. I said it is not that great.

ya it is really that tough. I always put oatmeal in my protein shake and with my old blender it was really chunky. But with the bullet blender it can grind it to a powder. Pretty cool I think. As for keeping a juicer clean I'll have to say the little strainer thing I have for my blender was a bitch to clean the orange pulp out of it.
