cutting or bulking: is it possible to eat to much red meat during either. say cutting down about 10 pounds, would lean or extra lean steak or ground beef put a hult to that. i dropped the chicken and have been craving steak for the last two months.

i eat a bunch of red meat. 93% lean ground beef is a cornerstone to my cutting diet. why the hell did you cut out chicken?!? thats another cornerstone for me at least...

a usually eat chicken 6 or 7 days a week but i have been getting some good tasting steaks and groud beef lately that i cant stop eating them. i love the taste of blood.
i just plugged some info into a site and it says 617 calories in 8 oz of lean ground beef. thats 40% of my calories while cutting.

Wow, you drop down to 1500 cal when cutting. Thats pretty low. As far as the red meat, i eat a ton of venison but its super lean like chicken. Try some if you have the chance.

bro you need more cals than that. my fiancee cuts at 1500

yea man. i stay about 10% bf and i was eating 4000+ cals and i was doing 20minutes of cardio 3 times a week and i got down to 8% bf in about 3-4 weeks. maybe its just genetics but i say cut calories last.

we dont have great genetics in the family and im pushing 30. slow metabolism and cardio doesnt seem to be doing much. a local pt put me on that low cal diet. it is pretty low but the foods i eat have no cals. thats about 6 meals.

Yes in a way. Bodyfat is relative. If you put on weight and its all muscle, your bodyfat% drops.
