| ok so ive been thinking about the following. id be running one helluva defict and still keeping a lot of protein....just thinking if i could at least maintain my current lean mass and lose fat doing the following... eat 2 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breasts every day. this would be about 850 cals with a whopping 200 grams of protein. i would eat it in 1/2 lb sittings 4 times a day. upon rising, around 9:30 am, 12:30, 5:00. Eat one protein bar containg 28 grams of protein, 7 grams of fat and 23 grams of carbs at 3:00. workout at 6 and around 7:30 have a protein shake with 50 grams of whey mixed with milk for a total of 75 grams of protein. have a casein shake with 23 grams of casein and mixed with milk for a total of 40 grams of protein before bed. this would bring my totals for the day to around the following... calories=1750 Protein=343 grams Carbs=65 grams fats=12 grams what do you think? |

| i chink your cals are too low. i would try going 10-15bpm over your target heart rate man. or try interval training...its hard but it burns lots of calories and fat. it shocks your body |

| Whats brings this about? Are you not losing bf as fast as you want now? You can try it for a couple of weeks, if you start losing strength on your lifts, quit. |

| i guess i will make the decision when i have my bf tested next week. im not sure how much bf ive actually lost, ive lost about 12 lbs since ive started (and i know thats not necessarily a good gauge for bf) my strength has gone up though, so im sure ive put on some muscle too. I guess im starting to become impatient. Cuts im going to start doing what you said. the interval training is hard, but im going to give it a shot. Would i still go for an hour, or cut the time down. also what i had in mind was to still use the treadmill and just speed up every 5 minutes or so...for example lets say i was at 3.7 mph at 5.0% incline, i would do that for 5 minutes and then run at 6.5 mph for 4 minutes, then slow back down and repeat... |

| yea sounds good. i would higher and lower the incline too. i'll ask my girl when she wakes up becasue i know she did that alot. |
